根据印度外交部的声明，双方审查了实际控制线（LAC）沿线目前的局势，“以期早日解决悬而未决的问题 with a view to finding an early solution of the outstanding issues”，“恢复和平与安宁以及对实际控制线的尊重是恢复双边关系正常化的重要基础”，并补充说周三的会议是“深入、建设性和前瞻性的”。
